What is a Cheong?
Cheong translates to ‘preserved with sugar’. It is a traditional Korean technique used to produce a concentrated syrup from fruit and sugar, allowing it to ferment and create a lovely, sweetened syrup, full of flavour. An excellent alternative to honey or other artificial sweeteners.
